In MJ, the --iw parameter stands for "image weight", which represents the weight of the image. It is used to adjust the ratio of image input to text input in prompts, helping you better control how AI balances the influence of images and text descriptions when generating images.


--iw Function

  1. Controlling the Influence of Images: By specifying a value for --iw, you can determine how much weight the uploaded image carries in the generated result. A higher value of --iw will give more influence to the image input in the final result, while a lower value will let the text description dominate.
  2. Default Value and Range: The default value of the --iw parameter is 1. Typically, the value of --iw can be adjusted between 0.1 and 3 (the range may vary in different versions, as shown in the table below). The specific value depends on how much impact you want the image input to have.
